How to close the front panel door

Help, how do I close the front panel door. I was able to open now I can't close it.

On the sides of the panel, inside, is a spring clip that must be pushed down in order to lock the panel in place. One side at a time, insert a flat head screwdriver into the side of the panel (near the top) and pry down the clip...once it's pushed down far enough, it will clear the lip so you can push the panel in and release the clip, relocking the face cover. Do the same to other side

SOURCE: leaking....front door won't close

Carefully look at the door gasket to see if any irregularity in seal. Could be problem with door seal; or you could easily change door mechanism thru a spare part shop quoting your model and spare-part No or "door mechanism"

SOURCE: door won't close now

I can tell you where the door latch release is.

Remove the lower front panel. (there are 3 #20 torx screws on the bottom of it holding it on towards the bottom) Once you have that panel removed, reach up just behind where you see the openings for the door latch. the black square hole and black round hol are all part of a larger door latch mechanisim. At the bottom of this mechanisim (cloest to where your hand will be) there is a "tab hanging off the bottom". Pull on the tab for a manual door release.

What is "error 77"

Hello.

Error 77 indicates a reset condition.

I'd suggest to open the front panel, remove the toner and close the front panel. The printer will try to warm up and then display to open the panel door. Open the door, insert the toner, close the panel and the machine error should clear.
