I managed to find another fuser draw assembly and swapped the heated rollers over from the faulty fuser into the new one and it solved the problem. Sadly I never found which part was defect but its now working.
    great!

My Lions club was given a 780 and most of the time it will print one sheet at a time OK. But trying to print multiples it stops half way thru the fuser or on the exit side of the paper is printed. We have replaced the fuser, imaging unit, waste canister. This printer has great features and quality. We really would like to use it to it fullest potental. Your thoughts.

This problem occurs do to a defect in the fuser drawer. In the fuser drawer, there are two black plastic parts that can go up or down. Their function is to push the belt cleaner on and off the accumulator belt after every pass. A defect in this system causes these parts to stay up, pushing the belt cleaner on to the belt every step except the last one, causing only the black toner to remain on the belt.
It's hard to track what the exact cause is but I would recommend checking gearing and gear teeth in your fuser drawer.

Xerox Phaser 7400, lines on solid colours

Are the streaks evident when printing actual images? I was told by an experienced Xerox service tech that those solid-fill test pages can be misleading -- mine does the same but prints photos beautifully. I suggest printing some full page photos, check for the streaks. You've already done just about all you can.

My Xerox phaser 6130 printer is progressively printing fainter and fainter colour prints

Go through troubleshooting by Googling the unit. Don't go switching stuff around before researching.

Printer is printing the black color as light grey. Toner is already exchanged.

When you print something from a website and the print box comes up, click on preferences tab, and when it comes up click on color . Then click on print in grayscale and change the setting from High Quality to Black ink only, click apply at the bottom, then OK. It should print in black ink.

Have Xerox 7300DN Printer. I am getting white lines in black color only. Have done all steps in the Xerox Diagnosing Print-Quality Problems page. Did not solve issue. Supplies usage page states black toner...

It looks like you may have some damage to the black IU. If you have an old one or a spare to try as a test that might help. The drum is easily scratched and this then produces marks or lines in the appropriate colour.

Xerox 6250dp

I had this problem when I used a generic toner. I installed a xerox cyan toner, then printed many sheets of a large blue rectangle. After about 15 pages the blue started to spread into the shape, after 30 pages the blue was back. Printing a lot of blue was necessary to get the new toner thru the system.

Xerox Phaser 6250 started printing bad

That really sounds like the imaging unit cleaner has an issue.
If you have one try the imaging unit, I really suspect that is your problem.
Black is Faded or Missing Step 1 Clean the Laser Windows and Remove Excess Toner From the Imaging Unit Step 2 Check or Replace the Imaging Unit Gear Retaining Pin Step 3 Replace the Imaging Unit (installation instructions) ic-film.gif
See if this link works. Xerox is infameous for these not working.

Xerox Phaser 6250

How Brave is Jan?

Doubt it be the fuser(100 000life), "just magenta dots".... fuser would be "all smudged" or "black marks" , "the print rubs off" , "paper is creasing or jamming"

Can prove it by stopping a print (open door) when paper is1/2 way threw machine, you need to stop it before it goes threw the hot bit, so you can tell if the hot bit (fuser) puts the marks on the paper.

Transfer roller one would expect to effect whole print Smudged/Faint,uneven density

It will be the imaging unit ( 30 000 pagelife Ouch$ ) or possible leaking toner (if aftermarket)

Remove imaging unit and inspect film you should find image of lines, dots are usually chips or sticky stuff on drum surface, carefull no oily human fingers on surface please.

When stopping machine mid print and perfecting your timing, pull out the imaging unit and look at replica of your print notice if marked and where.

Hope this helps
