This sounds like a defrost drain problem. Behind the panel in the back of freezer is a heater that defrosts the evaporator and below that is a drain hole. They will occasionally get clogged or just freeze over Pour hot water down it until it thaws then check to see if the water drains normally. If it drains after thawing then get a small length regular electrical wire and twist one end around the heater. You should get enough to extend the other end 2 or 3in into the drain hole. Now when the heater turns on it will heat the wire and thaw any ice in the top of the drain.
If you can't get water to drain then there is something clogging the drain tube and you'll have to find a way to clear it. I use a steamer that has a small tip to build pressure and force the clog out. Hope this helps.

Water Pooling & Freezing

Assuming your fridge has a defrost cycle ( I.e. is a frost free model), you are probably suffering a blocked drain hole or pipe, leading to the top of the condenser or a tray nearby, where the frost water can evaporate.
The pipe can block with food or a mould plug, leading to water retention that freezes and further blocks the drain. the water is produced when a heater switches on in defrost mode and thaws the internal or external ice build up and, with nowhere for it to go it will pool on the bottom and may, when in defrost mode, run out onto the floor.
With frost free fridges/freezers, there is a drain outlet, usually hidden behind a removable panel inside the fridge/freezer compartment or, a drain hole near the bottom. If there is a drain pipe as well, access is usually from the rear base of the machine. The pipe is usually removable and can be cleaned out but prepare for some water to escape. An ice block in the drainage hole can be thawed using a hair dryer BUT GENTLY, so as not to warp the plastic inners of the fridge.

Fridge leaks on the inside

The drain line in the freezer is blocked. It drains the water away after the defrost cycle. You will need to post your model number for me to be of more help.

Water LEAK...HELP!!!

I have had to clear the drain tube on my fridge several times, I have not figured out how to prevent it from reoccuring. UNplug the fridge first!!!!!
To unclog the tube you need to take the freezer lfoor panel off ( mine has 2 bolts holding it). Thaw any ice you see under the freezer floor panel and in the very back of the freezer. As the ice starts to disappear you will find a tiny opening about the size of a dime way in the back, this leads to the drain tube that goes all the way to the drain tray under your fridge. Get the heat in there (hairdryer) and then pour hot water in until you hear water flowing. A basting syringe works well for this part. Once you hear the water moving check the drain tray under the fridge, you may even see a corn kernel or a pea. If it is totally cleared you'll see water. Voila, put it back together and you're good to go.
Unless you get all the ise out you will find it hard to see the small drain hole..
If anyone knows how to keep this from reoccuring let me know.

Leaking water in refrigerator

This is a common problem that happens when the defrost condensate line becomes blocked. Sometime it will leak and freeze inside the freezer and other times it will find a place inside the fresh food compartment. I'm going to add a couple of links below for you to read and review so you can get a better idea of what is happening. On the first link you will need to scroll down a little. Let me know if this is helpful, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Kenmore elite - Water dripping from freezer to refrigerator

Your refrigerator has a defrost drain blockage behind the evaporator in your your freezer compartment. Some models like yours have leak in the turns as the water leaves the freezer. I recommend that you unplug and remove the cover to the evaporator and check the defrost condensate tray below the evaporator. A wet vacuum cleaner and poring a solution with clorox in the drain will help you clean locate the leak and where the blockage may be downline.. I do have the manual on yours and can help you solve this. Some times this is a factory defect and I can help you solve the freezing drain problem. Let me know, Sea Breeze

Bosch fridge leaking water

Now I think I have other things wrong with mine, after leakage problem the refrigeration compartment wont cool anymore but the freezer part remains working as usual.Ive nailed this down to one of the following not working... Thermostat / timer / defrost heater. So one or more of these needs replacing.Im just trying to look for a manual which shows the nuts and bolts or the refrigerator (not the "How to use" type manual which I have).
