I have an LG front loader that gets stuck right befor the spin cycle. It washes and drains, then the timer stops counting down and won't spin. It just makes normal sounds as it would before the spin but then doesn't advance from there. ie the "quick 30" wash takes 36 mins, it works fine until 13 mins where it makes normal wash noises but doesn't go any further than that and makes the same noise like its mid wash. The rinse and spin takes 22 mins but it gets down to 9 mins and stops in the same way. The first time it happened I saw it had 13 mins and was making normal sounds so I left it and came back 15 mins later to see its still at 13 mins. Is this a timer problem? Or something else? I don't want to get someone out to fix it and end up paying close to a new machine to fix.

Hello,
Check the drain hose where it goes into the wall, make sure it's only 6 to 10 inches in the standpipe. I have seen this issue countless times.

the timer advances slowly. if the wash cycle is set for 55 min,the actual cycle time is 1/2hour more.
