KODAK EASYSHARE Software and KODAK USB Cable Model U-8 is required to transfer the pictures to a computer.

This is generally an issue with the imaging chip. I've seen this on other cameras and it's typically been a blown CCD chip (which "captures" the image....) If it's a new or under warranty camera, send it to the manufacturer, if it's out of warranty, it's cheaper to simply replace the camera.

Try a dif. USB port.
Try a dif. USB cable.

Pls. note: ýour camera is a Digital camera and not a film camera.

just take off the batteries from the cam and press the power button fr few seconds then reload the batteries back to the cam... everythin wil be rite
