How can I reset the printer back to factory defaults. A tech set the passwword and left the company.
Press the counter key and then press and hold the # key and tap on system settings on the screen . it will ask if you want to reset the machine to factory mode, select yes and wait for the machine to reboot.

Tis printer is designed not to be reset. The only way is for a Ricoh Engineer to fit new boards. I was told this by Ricoh today when I phone for advice on the same thing. Apparently they sellthese to the FBI who demand security (Souds like b******t to me.
