Hi! My camera is just a year old but it's already producing poor pictures. It has stripes and yellowish outcome. What could be the problem here? Thanks in advance for your assistanc.

I have had a good look at the manual and cannot see that you could have done anything to the settings to cause this problem. It may be that the CCD ( detector ) is faulty, in which case the camera should be repaired under warrantly. Suggest you contact Samsung and complain.

Hi! I have the same problem with my S630. It was taking pictures fine , suddenly the LCD had stripes and became really bright. My camera is over a year old and had no problems uptil now. I tried with brand new batteries, but wouldn't help . What should I do now ? Can't it be reset at home ?
The same exact thing has happened to my 1 year old camera. It was taking pictures just fine and then it went all nuts! Whenever I take a picture, the screen appears yellow/white striped. By the way, the contact number for Samsung (on the Samsung S630 manual) is 1-866-344-4629. Good luck everyone!
