Plantronics voyager 510 headset

My headset just stopped working. It has power. The red light is flashing on the base unit. The blue light on the headset is on, but the blue light on the top switch of the base unit will not light. I have checked the power and the connection to the phone. What else should I do?

It's been just two weeks since I bought Plantronics 240 bluetooth headset, it has been working fine till yesterday, but after re-charging I'm not able to switch off the device. Even if I press power on/off switch, the blue light is always on not even blinking. Is there any way to switch it off. However I'm able to answer all calls.

Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.

The red light and blue light in on permanently. The earpiece has been charged all night but when I push the earpiece to sync, the blue light on top of the base doesn't flash therefore no connection. Please...

Unplug the AC power from the Plantronics 500A base, leave it unplugged at least overnight if possible, no lights should be illuminated on the base. Then plug the power back in, charge the headset, and try re-pairing the headset to the Plantronics 500A base unit. Here is the link for the pairing instructions:
