LG Flatron monitor

Hi there, I have an LG Flatron L1719S monitor I'm connecting to an HP compaq t5000 thin client. After the thin client boots up, it subsequently goes to "power saving mode". can anyone please advise as to why this is occuring and how can I remedy this problem.

Hi...there,
In power saving mode to preventing further damaged to you monitor. You've got a busted backlight inverter that need to be replaced. Happy Holidays!

A thin client is 99% reliant on a connection and server software. That is where I would start. Do the other clients work? Is your policy in place for your profile? Do you get any post?

Did you replace all the caps in the 5 and 12~18 vdc power supply section? Do you get the 5 and 12~18 volt output from the power supply? What is the symtom now after new caps? Does the screen flashes on then goes off?
