My Gaggia Titanium is struck in the descaling program. The display displays the decalcify and 'open knob' message. When turning the knob, nothing happens. I have tried to turn the machine off, even took it off power, and the message still appears when turning the machine back on. Pressing and holding one of the buttons doensn't work either... Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

If the decalcify messsage continues to appear after you've descaled, press the ESC button for 3 to 5 seconds to clear the message.

Line could be blocked at the boiler, check the the line that runs to the steam/hot water valve.
Did you try disconnecting the other side of the pump to see if indeed it doesn't work when you turn it on.
For the pump, if you remove the top connection and the electrical connections you can slide it off the top flange, then using a flat edge screwdriver on the back middle of the bottom flange where is sits on the frame you can get the pump out.

Remove brew unit, If you have the key that came with the machine use it to remove the shower screens and check for blockage.

your grinding chamber is blocked, the same happened to me, did it struggle to grind before? try taking the black shoot out the top with the 2 screws( were you would put pre ground coffee in) take the brew unit out(along with the waste water and bean tray), and reach up to where there is a little spring, the spring controls a little door, if you open the door manually and clean out the shoot to the grinder( make sure the machine is unplugged for this), i used the end of a tea spoon and a little hoover. it should work after this

Do you hear the pump working but no water flows?
You should select hot water (the third button from the right) and the display should say "hot water" at the same time it is saying VENTILATE --- open the steam valve all the way and the pump should start and you should see water from the steam wand.
If you don't hear the pump at all, then that is a different problem.
If you do hear the pump but still don't get any water with the steam valve open, then you need to prime the pump by using a turkey baster or the accordian pump that came with the Titanium to pump water into the valve where water from the tank goes. Remove the tank and use the turkey baster to pump water into that valve while the pump is running and the steam valve is open all the way with HOT WATER selected. the second water starts to come out the steam valve you want to stop the pump (turn the power off or turn the steam knob shut) and put the water tank back on and make sure there is plenty of water in the tank - then start the pump again by opening the steam valve all the way and let it pump water out the steam wand for a few minutes.
