Acer orbi Cam Not Working - Not Installed?

I hade to reformat my computer and since then my orbi cam is not working. I have an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop with Windows XP. I have emptied my pictures folder I have downloaded every single driver and software download I can find. When I click on the now installed software icon I get the message: A webcam was not found or is not working properly. I looked under the device manager and the Orbicam is not listed. Whats the matter with it how do I get it working again?

AFAIK Acer aspire 5100 using Bison Webcam.

Uninstall your old webcam driver, download new driver from here :

http://www.drivercabinet.com/driver-acer-aspire-5100-windows-xp-downloads/

choose bison webcam driver and after download, install it.

Reboot your computer for the changes to take effect.

I HAVE ALLREADY INSTALLED THE ACER ORBI CAM (AS IT SAYS ON THE DEVICE MANAGER) BUT THERE IS NO SHORTCUT OF THIS APPLICATION ANYWHERE IN MY COMPUTER AND SO I CANT USE ORBI CAM__msn [email protected]

Acer Orbi Cam...yes, there have been many problems with this little cam, but below is the URL for you to copy and paste, then choose the driver......Orbi Cam

Then choose driver downloads
Choose your make and model, it will take you to the driver download pull down menu, choose your Operating system , either XP or Vista, then choose the Orbi Cam option. Download the driver, and install...
Reboot your computer and try your Orbi..
