Puk codes hi iv got a phone and it has a virgin sim witch has a sim lock now because i have tryed my password to many times and it went to sim lock and it says i need a puk code but i dont know what it is do you have any ideas what it could be please help me thanx :)

please contact your network provider(airtel,virgin),they will tell your puk code and enter it and unlock the phone

If you try pin more than few predefined no of times your phone will ask PUK code which can also be given only by your service provider which is specific for each and every mobile number . Donot try PUK code many times or else your sim will be blocked and you will need a new sim.
Contact your sim customer care department over phone. Its free of cost to get the pin or puk no.
Go to the nearest service outlet of your service provider they can also help you.
There is no other go than the above procedure only your service provider can give it nobody else in this world nor any software.

Ring virgin from your handset and ask them for the code to unlock your phone,

The other way is
If you enter wrong password for more then 5 times,it ll ask you to enter the puk number....now call your customer care and
get the puk number...enter the puk number in the space given for password....thats it...problem is fixed
If you had locked your mobile then update the formware all saved passwords will be deleted.

But hey, it's no problem at all - what you need to get back up and running is a PUK code. That's your phone's Personal Unlocking Code.

hi there i need to no if its a sim password or phone pass word if its a sim password enter any number 3 times and it will say , puk blocked then ring your provider (optus virgin ect tell them your details and mobile number and they will give you your puk number enter that and it will say enter new password and repeat ,,,,if it is a phone lock u can take it to a phone dealer they copy the imei number and try to reset your passsword

my phone is asking for a puk code but iv lost mine so i cant openit this happernd after i was messing around with the security key
