Windows7 stuck in loop

go to a local pc repair shop and have them burn you a windows disk for your version....the license is on a sticker on your PC, the Media (or disk,) doesn't matter for licensing purposes.

You can then attempt a start-up repair. boot from the cd, choose 'repair my computer', then choose the top radio button regarding advanced startup or recovery tools.

When i switch my computer on, windows profession window appears and say press ctrl+alt_delete to begin, I do that but nothing happens. My laptop i'm using is a Dell Latitude D630

Step 1 - Remove non bootable media
Remove any floppy disks, CD's or USB sticks from your computer and restart.
If NTLDR is missing error appears again, Do the Next Step.

Ensure you boot the system from the CD. The system will then boot into the Windows XP Setup.
At the welcome screen press 'R' to enter the Recovery Console
At the recovery console, select your Windows XP installation and enter your Administrator password if requested
At the command prompt issue the following commands and press ENTER after each command:
fixboot
fixmbr
Remove your Windows XP CD and restart the computer
If the NTLDR is missing error appears again after reboot, Try the Next Step.
It is sometimes necessary to run or re-run the Windows XP Setup repair process
If it did not solve your issue re-insert your Windows XP CD and run Windows Setup again

Good Luck!!!!

Hi, My Samsung R580 I3 JBB2-US keeps on shutting down. If I close the lid when I re-open it shuts down & I have to restart or it freezes and I have to force restart. Sometimes when I boot up it...

Hi,
You can try go to Start - Control Panel - Power Options and check what you want computer do when you close the lid of your laptop. Fix that and restart laptop to apply the setting.
If the boot up not complete and restart by itself, in my opinon, there is something wrong on the start up process, could be hardware malfuctions, could be a software not compatible. Try check the start up process to see.(use Start- Run: msconfig)
If this happen often, you should call the Samsung customer services to find out. Laptop i3 should still under warranty.

Hope this will help.

E- computer turn on then the screen says it was shut off improperly. say click to restart or wait.....did this it ran through its process and went to screen with no signal. ran it again under boot and...

looks like it's stuck in a startup loop, can you boot from a windows cd into repair console (press R to repair with xp, choose repair my computer with vista or 7) ?

if so, type the command fixboot and after that fixmbr, if it still doen't work, try the chkdsk /F /R
command. if that doesn't work, try booting in hirens boot cd (download v13 and burn it to a cd rom) if still no success, you need to reinstall windows, if that doesn't work, replace the harddisk and reinstall.

Sometimes pc restarts

may have been a filesystem problem...do one thing. if you have the winxp cd..boot in recovery console.

refer here for info on how to run reconvery console.

in the console command, type chkdsk /r, like this

c:WINNTchkdsk /r

let it run until finish...do this several times, at least 2 or 3 times. then restart your PC again.

if you don't have the winxp CD, but still can go to windows. try running the check disk using command line.

START >> RUN >> type cmd

in the command console type chkdsk /r then press Y......restart your PC.

let us know if you need more info.
