All manuals can be found at the following location:

There is no Saturn model, as far as I can tell from looking at many websites, but there is a Jupiter model that is likely the same one.
Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I need the wiring for the Star Pointer Finderscope

Not sure if this will help, since for some reason I can't open pdf files, but this page has a cable diagram under accessories (scroll down toword the bottom of the page). Here's the link:
http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=371-595-15349
Other than that, I couldn't find any information on the wiring diagram, and if that link doesn't help you, your best bet would be to contact Astromaster to see if they could supply you with one, or give you support. Here is their support page:

Good luck, thanks for using FixYa, and hope this helps.

I picked up a used Meade 114 EQ AS on the off

First go to Meade's manual web site -- look under the REFLECTOR heading and download a manual. Here:
http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

Second-- It's NOT ASTROLOGY! It's Astronomy!

Astrology is completely fake and superstitious belief that the planets and stars affect your life!

The MIRROR is on the bottom of the telescope- this is called a REFLECTOR style telescope. The focuser is on the TOP (side) of the telescope. Make sure the focuser end is UP and the mirror is on the bottom pointed toward the GROUND.

What level magnification do I use to see jupiter or saturn in a telescope?

Your 3.5 inch telescope has a maximum magnification of about 170 power.

This is under perfect sky conditions and a perfectly collimated telescope. Galileo used 30 power magnification to see Saturn's rings and the moons of Jupiter!

Put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser do not use the 2x barlow if you have one.

Point it at Saturn. You will see the rings. However they are almost slanted directly toward Earth right now. You will only see a thin line going across the planet.

By the end of 2010 they should open up again enough to make out the "ring" shape.

You only need about 50-70 power to view Jupiter or Saturn, or Venus. Mars is smaller and about 100 power to 120 power should permit you to see the disk of the planet (but it's still very small in the eyepiece).

Celestron powerseeker 114 #21045 not working

This is a simple reflecting telescope-- put the eyepiece with the largest number written on it into the focuser-- take it outside during the day time and practice focusing on a distant object.
