I have a ap3800c ricoh
I have registration problems with 11x17 thick paper even with plain paper
i run ajusting color registration but still have the same problem manually or automatic
then I did fuser ajust
but still have the same problem
I would like to know what can I do

Try running auto color registration adj from user tools/menu(try it a couple times)
If this doesnt clear it up you will need to have a transfer belt and or transfer belt assy replaced

No,the printer will not run without PCU's installed.The only way unfortunately on this model is to check all gears visually.Most likely bad gears either in one of the PCU's or in the fusing unit.
The black along the side of the paper is usually the black photoconductor , it also could be the fuser. If the color reg says can't be preformed it probly needs a new transfer belt. If the color reg completes and the colors still don't line up it might be the laser. It also could be dirty reg sensors.
