Kodak c613 will not switch on put in new batteries had this camera since xmas

Kodak easyshare c613

I got this camera for Christams off my dad and it was fine until about an hour after i turned it on for the first time! Now it doesn't switch on at all! I've switched the batteries over and over again and it still wont turn on! I have been using my C613 for several months-and it has been fine- but I noticed today that, although it had been turned off, and I downloaded some pics into my610 printer dock, it was sitting on the shelf with the lens extended but it was off- I tried turning it on, I replaced the batteries with new three times and nothing happenned-what can I do?

Can I use Ultimate Lithium batteries in my C613 Kodak EasyShare camers or they to powerful?

No, the recommended battery for your C613 camera is the Ni-MH battery. It will give you stable power on your camera.

I changed the batteries in my Kodak EasyShare C613 camera and the camera will not come on.

Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.

Put new batteries in but there still is no power

Check if your using the recomended batteries for this camera Easyshare C613. The batteries are 2AA Ni-MH batteries, 2 AA Lithium batteries or 2 AA Alkaline batteries. If your use this kind of batteries and they are new out from the box try this steps.
1. Remove the memory card and the battery on the camera
2. Clean the both battery contacts with clean dry cloth
3. Put the battery back in the camera in correctly
4. Set the camera in Auto "it's the camera icon on the dial of the camera."
5. Turn it on
*If it turns ON take photos and review them check if it will stay on

Are you using Lithium batteries?

Most Kodak models are only happy running on Lithium batteries.

I have two Kodak cameras, both had various power-related problems. Since using Lithium batts, not a single glitch.

They are more expensive, but they end up costing less compared to the amount of alkaline batts replaced.

Worth a try.
