My netbook cursor is stuck. i've tried F+F3 and the screen shows touchpad on but cursor is not moving. what should i do now??

I followed the advice of pressing the FN and F7 keys at the same time. It didn't work when the program was fully loaded, but I rebooted and tried again during the rebooting and it worked. I had the frozen cursor on the Travel Mate (Acer) also.

Press fn+f9, this is a mode for locking and unlockig touchpad
