Did you change the IEEE 1394 Host Controller to a legacy driver or did you just add one? You have to change IEEE 1394 to the 1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller, specifically.

Did "Firewire Enabler" get installed in the Start menu? If so, give it a try. Make sure to download the latest PMI/O update from M-Adio if you haven't already.

Also, the old computer might of had a different PCI card. I remember there being compatibility issues with PMI/O and Express cards. Check the card type. There might be a firmware, patch or an update to fix the issues.

If the card is incompatible, just switch out with the other (if you still have it).

If the issue still exists, try Klinke's MCU plugin. It should work if nothing else. Maybe check for ASIO Driver issues. Other than that, it would have to be hardware or bad cables.

It sounds like an adapter issue. The PMI/O say's to use a 9v adapter, but the manual on page 9 says 12v. Try 12v if you use 9v or vice versa.

Powering on while holding the Zoom button will enter a test mode.

To do a reset. Setup>Factory Defaults>SEL>Yes

Unfortunatly, it's time to take it to the shop. Check the Peavey website for an authorized repair center in your area. An authorized repair shop will have better access to the parts and tech help from Peavey service.
No sense digging into the amp and getting a bad shock!

Digidesign / AVID does not release Schematic Diagrams -even internal to the company unless you are the service tech or hardware engineer on the project. You are going to have to send that in to a Service Center or to the Palo Alto, CA service warehouse.

If it's still under warranty, get it replaced. Otherwise, take to an authorized behringer repair shop, or your local pro-audio repair shop.

Behringer will not release schematics unless you are an authorized service agent... however, sometimes you can make do with the few schematics floating around... What is the problem with the unit? They typically use a switching power supply and the schematics of those aree usually similar enough to repair them.

Behringer is the only source or an authorized repair facility. I have a site for some of the Behringer stuff, but not this product. They will only release the schematics to their authorized repair people. Getting parts is another whole nightmare.

A common problem is a person will plug in an unbalanced plug into an input. this often grounds out the 48 volts. Use ONLY balanced lines like XLR and TRS connections. There is NOT likely a fuse inside as the 48 volts have fairly high impedance driving the mic leads... around 6K ohms. Verify that the 48 volt control setting has not been turned off.
