Disassemble or open the remote control Sony RM-YD035

You can repair Sony Remote RM-YD035 yourself. It's quite easy and fast, with perfect result!


To disassemble or open the remote control Sony RM-YD035, first remove a single screw in the battery compartment. Then use a very thin but strong screwdriver and insert it between top cover and the body at the back part of the battery compartment. Move the screwdriver up and down and slowly move it to the left and to the right and continue along the perimeter. Use two or three such screwdrivers and in 2-4 minutes the top cover plate with buttons will separate from the body/bottom/casing.

Clean both parts thoroughly. And then gently put them back together in the opposite order. The parts will snap closing.

You are done.

You will have screws behind the remote control which you need to remove first and then give some force to open it. Inside you can see the chip board.. Donot use any chemicals to clean which will spoil the elctronics. Use some cloth or brush to clean,
