Assword but it won't let me. Can't login

Contact PayPal directly. Figure your money is gone. Contact your bank to ensure they can't transfer your money into your paypal account.

If you can figure out how, hack back into your own account and change the password and contact information. Once upon a time long ago I was able to get back an email account by doing this.

You might not be able to log in if:

• You forgot your password or email address.
• You changed your email address or password.

If you forgot your password or changed your email address, click forgot? and follow the instructions.

Here's how to add an email address to your PayPal account:

Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.

Click 'Profile' near the top of the page.

Click 'Update' beside 'Email.'

Enter your new email address and click 'Save.'

When you add an email address to your PayPal account, we send you an email to confirm that you own the email address.

You might be asked to provide certain personal details of when you first created your PayPal account have them ready

Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.

If you do not receive the email, you can request that we send it to you again.

Click 'Click here to confirm your additional email address' in the email we sent.

Enter your password in the box and click 'Confirm.'

If the link does not appear in the email, you can confirm your email address from your PayPal account.

Here is how:

Go to the PayPal website and log in to your account.

Click 'Confirm email address' in Account Overview.

Click 'Click here if the button does not appear in the email.'

Check your email inbox.

Copy the confirmation number in the email.

Paste the confirmation number in the box provided.

Click 'Confirm.'

If there is a delay in receiving your email confirmation notice, it may be because your email notification preference is set to receive HTML format.

Check with your internet service provider for steps on changing your email format from HTML to plain text.

To recover your password:

1. Go to www.paypal.com.au.

2. Click 'Problem with login?' under 'Account login.'

3. Select 'I forgot my password.'

4. Enter the email address you used to create your PayPal account.

5. Enter the security code shown, without spaces.

6. Click 'Continue.'

Depending on the information on your account, we will either ask you to enter in some details, such as your card number, to confirm your account.

Alternatively, we may send an email to your email address.
If we send you an email, simply click on the link in the email and create a new password.

First of all make sure your computer is clean and free from virus or trojan. This is to make sure the hacker won't be able to get into your email outside paypal. Please don't also use the password of your email address to make it safe for your paypal.

Step two : Go to paypal.com and make sure you are on the home. Click Problem with Login. Choose I dont know my password and type in the Verification code. Then enter the email addres of your paypal. IF it shows error then Choose the other option which is ""I don't know what email address I use"" then ""I need to create a new password""

Step three : Go to your email and check the email of paypal.

2. click I don't know my password.
3. enter the email address you registered with paypal.
4. enter the characters shown in the image in the security text box and click continue.
5. enter information to confirm that you own the account, and click continue.
6. enter your new password twice, and click submit.

To know whether your PayPal account is active, kindly login to your PayPal account by entering the email address associated with your PayPal account and the password in the login box.

If you have forgotten the email address or password, you can reset it by clicking the "Forgotten your email address or password" link below the login box (see attached image)





If you are still unable to login to your account, please contact PayPal customer support by clicking the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of your PayPal page.

On the new page which opens, you will find two options for contact: Email and Phone (see attached image).





If you wish to contact by phone, click the 'Call Us' link. (You will have to generate the Secure Web PIN. For your account security, the customer support executive will ask for the account information and the Secure Web PIN)

If you are incredibly sure your login information is correct, have you tried resetting your password from the PayPal website? Once LastPass locked all of my information away under a fictitious password... I fixed it by resetting my password. Look for an option that involves sending information to your email address.

Maybe you forgot your password. You can click "problem in login?" is under the Log In button. New page going appear and you can answer the questions to get your password.

The question is: What's the issue?
You can answer : I don't know my password

Then, paypal will send you the password through your email

If you've just lost or forgotten your access codes (password or email address) to your PayPal account, you can click on the 'Problem with login' link at the login page (where you type your Email address and your password.

You'll be directed to a page where you can choose from the following options:
- I don't know my password
- I don't know what email address I used
- I don't know either one
Choose one and follow the instructions to recover your password or your email address.


If your account has been hacked or compromised, you should contact PayPal directly to lodge a report and regain control of your account.

For Change Email

Step 1: Open paypal

Step 2: Click Problem with login

Step 3: Click I don't know what email address I used.

Step 4: Enter up to three email address you might have used to paypal sign up for your paypal account

Step 5: Enter the code shown in the image

Step 6: Click Continue and follow the instructions.

For Change password

1. Log in to your PayPal account. 2. Click My Account at the top of the page. 3. Click Profile at the top of the page. 4. Click the Password link in the Account Informationcolumn. 5. Select Password. 6. Click Edit. You may be required to confirm your accountinformation. 7. Enter your current password 8. Enter your new password. 9. Click Save.
