How to get accurate answer in double-quick time.

You can tell whether a man is clever by his answers. You can tell whether a man is wise by his questions. (Naguib, Mahfouz)

For an accurate solution in double-quick time, ask your computer related questions indicating the operating system, version, the make and model of your device.
It would be helpful to indicate the operating system of the computer while asking a printer problem.

Detailed question causes quick and accurate response. This Tip applies for all kind of Questions not only for Printers.

If you ask one unclear question such as "My printer is not working, why?", an expert or repairman has to ask many to give you the correct answer or to fix the device.

"Troubleshooting", "Finding quick solutions" and "Repairing on time" depends on "Wise questions" and "Explanations" of the problem.

The 3 Simple Steps of asking wise questions related to the computer hardware, software and computer peripheral are listed below:

STEP 1. Write the device name, model, etc which you faced problem with in detail such as HP Deskjet 1660 Printer, emachines EZ 1601-01 All in one, Mac Book Pro, etc.

STEP 2. Write the environment which the device is currently working with such as Windows XP SP2 Operating System, Mac OS X Snow Leopard, Linux, etc.

STEP 3. Write the problem that you faced clearly but do not forget to explain some extras which should be used as clue to find the problem easily such as "Printer is not printing the MS Document on A3 paper, but prints on A4 paper".

Example 1:

PROBLEM : You didn't manage to print a document in HP Deskjet 1660 Printer, it prints strange characters.

Your Question d) My printer prints other documents but can not print out only one document to an A3 paper.

SOLUTION : You didn't load A3 sized paper tray before printing. Load that paper tray.
