Why Google Search Redirects Virus? How to Fix Google Redirecting Virus

Two good software tools can help you to fix the redirecting virus with Google search. One is the registry repairing program and the other is the malware removal tool. With the help of the registry cleaning program the infection is completely removed from the hidden registry entries of the Windows. While the anti-malware detects and removes the infection from the computer. If during search, Google redirects virus and produces undesired web results then follow these instructions:
Step 1:
Download a software to thoroughly repair and clean Windows registry. The Windows registry is an area which contains very sensitive information about all the programs running in the computer. Most of the viruses and malwares also attack the Windows registry. Unfortunately running the anti-virus/anti-malware scans only does not remove the infections from Windows registry.

Step 2:
Download a good malware removal tool and conduct scan through it. The Google search redirect virus is caused by the malwares that shall be removed from the computer. If properly used with the registry cleaning tool, the antimalware can greatly help to fix the Google redirecting virus.

Step 3:

Go to My Computer > Properties > Device Manager > Hardware > View > Show Hidden Devices. After this select the option "Non-Plug and Play Drivers" and disable 'TDSSserv.sys'. Don not uninstall it.

The above guidelines have been found to work well. Are you tired of this nuisance and want to have a quick fix to eliminate Google redirecting virus? Here are the tools which are recommended by PC experts to fix search redirect problem:

Use Intel Software Partner, RegInOut and Use Combofix Tool. You shall run RegInOut scan before and after this process if Google redirects virus in your browser.

I start the internet and I get redirected

There is a malicious software application called the Google redirect virus. If your system is affected with this resident virus, you will be redirected most of the time. Each time you click on a favorite to reach a website, you get IE8 redirect problems - due to the Google redirect virus. I recommend a scan to know if your IE8 redirect problem is attributed to the Google redirect virus.
Not all antivirus applications can detect it. You may use Microsoft Security Essentials for regular use (it takes care of several specific types of spyware) or if you wish to go for a one time scan, you can use MS AV online scan. Once you have completed the scan and have found and removed the virus, I recommend you use the best maintenance software for Windows to avoid the problems in future.
IMPORTANT: Please clean your computer for temporary Internet files and cookies prior to running the online AV scan as they may interfere with the scan process.

If you can browse normally, it means the problem is some add-on. Start IE8 normally and disable all add-ons (Tools → Manage Add-ons). Enable them one by one to isolate the add-on that's creating the problem. You can disable or remove that add-on to prevent future IE redirects.
If you still get redirect problems, I recommend you uninstall the Internet Explorer 8 and download the "Internet Explorer Optimized for Google". This optimized version gives fewer troubles that include eliminating most IE8 redirect problems too.

I have a web browser redirect that will not let me go to Yahoo or Google SE, instead it redirects me to another SE..... Pls help!

Sounds like you are experiencing "Browser Hijacking". This is caused by a malware that can be tricky to get rid of at times.

Download and install the free program at the following link. It is really good at removing many type of malware that normal virus scanners miss.

Google search redirects me to another site...how do I fix this?

That's a classic sign of a virus and or spyware. They redirect you to a site they control and try to get you to buy their virus protection.Reboot in "safe mode" and run your virus and spyware software.Make sure it's the deep scan so it clears your Restore files too. Also check your User Accounts for a "new" administrator. The virus will log on as administrator and control your computer so you can't delete the virus files.Let me know if this helps?
