Power Saving Mode during game play only

Would be pleased if someone could help with a problems i am having with my computer shutting down, with a message coming up saying power saving mode. It only happens when playing games, but some work. Strange thing is, it happens on the older games, some of the games with higher system requirements work fine. I have a LG l1715S '17inch' flat screen, and Raedon 9800 Series Graphics Card. I have read many of the above problems and fixes, tried them none have worked. Examples, went in bios, and changed power management, tried all display options in control panel (setting all to never). I have reinstalled graphics driver, reinstalled the lg screen driver, and none have worked. Not sure if anyone can help with this problem, don't think it is the monitor because the computer shuts down, and needs to do system check before loading up again. please any assitance would be helpful

Splinter cell conviction frezon at mansion after weapons crate

if you are experiencing problems during gameplay try shutting off the console and letting it cool down and during that time clean the disk with a damp cloth, than the next step would be is to save the game to your hardrive to ensure that even if you scratch the game you can play it i recommend saving all your new games to your harddrive

"Analog going into power saving mode" when I try to play a game.

Most of these kinds of problems are created by using the different version than the current version of your video card driver.

Analog Power Saving Mode Problem!

Have you checked you power saving options in Control panel.
If this is a desktop, unless you are a energy miser, I would change your power saving options to never on all options, turn off hibernation and suspension for when you are playing games.
You can find this in control panel under power Options.
Let me know if this helps.
Thank you

POWER SAVING MODE while playing computer games

Check to see if your fan on your video card is spinning and is not clogged with dust. Almost sounds as if it is overheating and causing a reboot.
