QSC burner problem hooked up to 2480

What burning software/version are you using?

This means the low-level part of the operating system is corrupted or missing. Simply try reloading the OS by putting the CD into the CD drive. If it does not allow an OS reload or if it fails, most likely the flash ROM which holds the basic part of the OS has been zapped and will require service. You can also try to replace the internal button battery inside that retains the memory.

Tyrn off tank open conrtol knobs to burners , turn off burners turn tank on slowly see if gas comes out now , if not check burners are not blocked or injectors are not blocked

Mike, there can be some pressure problems, but it's not the new tank. However, it does cause the problem and here's how you resolve it.

1. Turn the gas tank valve OFF.
2. Disconnect the hose from the tank and wait 5 minutes.
3. Reconnect the hose to the tank and turn the tank valve ON VERY, VERY SLOWLY (Slow motion, slow).
4. Once the valve is fully open, light the burner farthest from the tank first and turn the burn to HIGH.
Does the burner light and the flame height look correct? If so, light the remaining burners the same
way. Now, do all the burner flames look as the should? If co, you solved the problem. Always
remember to turn the tank valve ON very, very slowly>

If the above did not solve the problem, you will need to replace the grill's Hose/Regulator Assembly. You can pick one up at any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills and accessories. It will run you about $30.00 (+/-) .

The side burner ignitor wire connects to the spare lug on the main ignitior module. That one module, controls all the spark ignitors at each main burner and the side burner. When you press the button all ignitors spark at one time. I know it sounds stupid, but that's the way Charbroil's R & D designed it. I guess it saves money.

Are you sure you got the right burners. Sounds like they gave you a 220 volt burner with one wire red and the other black.

These can be very finiky regarding the CD burners.

AS I RECALL there are TWO different downloads and one will allow the burning BUT will not allow another feature to work. The site should have the info you need.

i know this sounds stupid, but i am going to Los angeles right now
to a studio and trying to get out my bands demos from th 2480...the cd drive is not writing them when i went there last....so now we are going to back them up or optimize it to see what we can do....i promise to help you later...and find the email of that dude who designed the songvault, if you can tell me what materials he sent you..i e. scsi cable...scsi to sata enclosure....sata hdd is it 120 gig harddrive etc...

Listen. I had one of those. DO NOT BUY ANOTHER. They were made in Canada and the company has not been in business in over 5 years. Search for one that is compatible. TRUST ME Throw it away.
