Nokia N73 ME phone memory shows full but not full

HI. Ive been getting this problem since a while but ive always succeeded to fix it by deleting various things(like messages and clearing the log). But its not working now. My phone is showing 0 kb free memory and 44 mb used memory. The prob is everything is on my mem card. I even tried to removed my mem card. Nothing is working. I cannot receive messages and missed call wont be showed on the screen. there is absolutely nothing that ive saved on my phone. all messages have been erased, theres no application that ive added, logs have been cleared...
plzzzz help me!!! :'(

    i have the same problem too. it says that my memory is full (phone memory). that's why i tried to change the phone memory into memory card. but why is that every time i click memory card, nothing happens? messaging -> options -> settings -> other -> i click the memory card but nothing happens. why is that so? how can i change my memory in use in my nokia n73? :(

    my nokia N73 shows 'memory full, delete some data'.
    in this condition it shows no and new log. messege blink at the top of screen. i tried my best wat could i do, but i fails. after sm time it corrected automatically, some time in a day, some time in many days..
    it is giving so much problem.
    i tried to update my phone's software too. but again i got the same problem. i think this is a problem from the begeining in the nokia N73

Change the optional memory to memory card as the phone memory is filled completely.generally messaging uses the phone memory to operate.Messaging->options->settings->other and change the memory is use to memory card.that should solve the problem. This problem is certainly not with the memory card.hope this helps you out.

Try this go to APLICATION > Lifeblog> then Option > Sttings> uncheck all then restart your phone. its in life blog problem this should solve your prob......

Its mean phone memory is full, you can make some space by deleting some installed application. Delete also all cache/history in your browser. If the problem persist, reset your phone to factory setting after put off your memory card. After resetting the phone, your phone memory will be empty again and you can reinstall your previous application. Avoid to install application in phone memory (always install in memory card).

Its not your Memory card, it is the internal memory which is full, You need to delete the files from the internal memory.

Hi, You can delete your old messages both (inbox and outbox messages) the also go to your call log menu, to delete all your old calling info. be it miss call, dial call or received call. This should be able to free the memory of the phone. Also try to remove or delete those applications that you think you don't always use or delete some of your newly installed application to free your phone memory.
and if you think all this have benefit for you, then get a higher bytes memory card for your phone.

Hi.. My nokia N73 is always showing as phone memory full delete some data.. i have done resetting the phone multiple time still it is showing same problem ..
try ( * + '3' + 'call button') hold this three keys and power up ur mobile without simcard dont leave the button untill u get the countries name for further details.be sure to save or backup data saved in your phone and memory card. this format will remove each and every file saved in your phone memory or memory card which cannot be restored if deleted once..

Hi,
This problem Arises When your Phone memory(C:\ Drive) Is almost Full .normally C: Drive Has 44.4MB Space. But When it goes below 500KB,it shows
"memory low delete some data"
So delete unwanted files from phone memory using any Good File managers .One i suggest is Using "Xplore" An application for n73
Which can be downloaded Here
Or else use Phones inbuilt file manager to delete unwanted files from phone memory.

Hi,

most nokia phones especially N series has that similar problem, but it an be solved.

Most messages that comes into the phone always go straight into the message inbox, in other to stop seeing message delete, you have to delete some messages in he inbox of the phone.that will stop it.

My nokia n73 is not working properly means always
try to format your cell

Switch-off your phone.

1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!


2. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory settting.

N73 cant send txt msge but can recive them
Happened to my n73 too. Format the phone to get rid of junk files stuck in the memory as well as viruses.

To format:
  1. turn phone off.
  2. hold the following keys WHILE its turning back on: (3 + * + green call key)
  3. do not let go until it asks you about your location
Your phone will gain 44mb back and go back to normal. Phone will respond a lot faster too, as if it were new. Viruses would be deleted as well as other junk stuffed inside.

Important reminder:

If you have anything stored on the phone memory that you woudn't want to delete, such as pictures, videos, or whatever, back it up to your memory card or computer. The format process deletes all stored memory on the phone, but not the memory card.

Memory full?
try this. this helps me..
turn off your n73 phone. turn it on. while your mobile is booting, hold
3 + * and the green call key at your left soft key until it ask your location.. select your location and BAM! your phone is new again and 44mb is back.
note: before doing this back up your files to your memory card and remove it removed it from your phone. =) This is SAFE!
