Tree flashes on the Led means that the convergence ICs' need replace and will cost around four hundred for the repairs
See answer just posted for the duplicate question posted here two times by the site.
First answer for some reason did not post correctly:
3 blinks is short protection-98% chance one of the 2.2. ohm resistors that protect the two STK-392-110 chips is bad (will be discolored in middle).
Both chips and resistor need to be replaced--this if you can solder is a do it yourself repair---
Give me an email and I will send the step by step start to finish instructions that tell you everything needed and how to do it for under 30 dollars total parts cost and where to get the parts for the best price.

Your Set is going into shutdown mode due to the convergence section of your television. Thats what 3 blinks mean. It could be just the Convergence ICs and resistors or you may need a new Signal board TNP2AH035 Let Me know if you need further assistance with this problem.

The buzzing noise you are hearing is most likely the ballast fire, this is good. You most likely have a bad lamp which is the best case for you. I would recommend pulling the lamp out and looking at it to see if its physically shattered or not.
The instructions for pulling the lamp can be found in your owners manual. If you do not have this anymore just look on the sides or the back of the tv for a small door with a screw or 2 in it. take those screws out and the door should come off, then take the screw(s) out of the lamp and pull it out. if you see glass rolling around inside you will need a new lamp. Let me know and I will help you find a good one at a good price.

I had the same problems that most of you have been having, tv turning on and off, lights flashing in all different colors, having to unplug tv to reset and all of that good stuff. I noticed that most of the time this would happen once the tv would start to heat up, and I could hear the fan working a little harder. Well I am not an electrician but It was very simple to unscrew the lower bottom park of the tv, where the fan and most of the electronics sit, then I used an oxygen tank ( I work for a medical company ) to blow out all the dust in the tv, ( you can olso use the compressed air use for computer, but if grandma or grampa have some O2 laying around, it works really good, LOL. )and was very surpriced to see how dusty it was, then I removed the MAIN FAN ( you only need to remove three screws, however there's a box in fron of it, which you'll have to remove first in order to get to the fan ). this may sound a little complicated, but trust me it is not, once you have taken the fan off, clean it all the way around ( best to use a clean rag, the compressed air was not doing the job.
long story short, once I cleaned the fan and put it all back together. The TV still didn't work LOL, Just kidding, It has been working perfect for a little over a week.
If I can help in any other way, please e-mail me @ [email protected]
hope this helps.

It's one of two things, a bad chipset, or bad lamp. 200-250 repair. Hope this helps
