Had no problems opening back with small screwdriver. Got replacement battery, but now the back will not close and seal no matter how much pressure I use. Have made sure that back slot matches with place for stem. Help.
Not the answer I was hoping for, but apparently there is a "press" that jewelers use to reseal water resistent watches. There is a reference to it on this website: http://howtochangeawatchbattery.com/changing%20a%20watch%20battery%20page4.htm

Usually answered in minutes!
Popped the back at the pry point.
Battery Tight, Second hand in wrong position (Fixed)
Now the back wonk click closed.. Ideas?
Geez, plenty of folks with the problem, but no solutions yet. I'm thinking that there's a jewelers tool that presses the back onto the watch body. I'll keep looking for a solution.
