We had this issue and removing the optional hard disk fixed it for us, I'm guessing it was on the way out and wasn't really being used so it will not be missed.

Check our USB cable. It should contain AWG marking on it. Depending on AWG number there is a limit to USB cable length as follows:

28AWG = 0.81 m
26AWG = 1.31 m
24AWG = 2.08 m
22AWG = 3.33 m
20AWG = 5.00 m

Make sure your cable does not exceed the maximum length according to its marking. Replace the cable if it exceeds the length.

We have put a new toner cartridge in our oki b710. it still reads 0% how do we reset?

There are some toners out there that do not have the "Chip" that makes contact with the printer itself. If you have the old cartridge then you can prize out the chip and fit it into your new cartridge. that will get it working again.

Go to "IP" in the add printer section. It is a "globe" at the top of the page. In address put the address of your printer there and name the printer at the bottom. Worked for me.

Oki c5150 log buffer full job rejected

This problem exist because of Job Accounting has been initiated on the printer. Just had this problem myself. Okidata was unable to help me solve, but through numerous online searches I was able to work it out. First you have to download Storage Device Manager from Oki. It is under the Utilities heading on the left of the drivers download screen. At first I couldn't find it under my printer C5200n, so I continued to the next model just after mine and found it there under C5300 and fortunately it worked. What this will do is it will clear the flash memory in the printer. Only use this if the log data is of no use, which in my situation was the case. It is easy and only takes a few seconds and now everything is back up and printing. READ the instructions first before installing.

Fatal Error 121

My OKI C5800LDN printer displayed the Service 121 error last night. After reading the previous solutions, and trying them with no success, I followed the instructions in the service manual, and removed the High Voltage Power Supply Board. There are four cables that plug into the board, the rest of the electrical connections are made between spring loaded fingers that make contact directly with the board when snapped into place. I used a rubber eraser to carefully polish each one of the fingers and their connections points on the circuit board. I re-installed the board, and the error is gone.

I have an Oki B4600. I recently replaced the drum & toner. The print is very light and part of the page is illegible.No error message is displayed. Please advise

The problem is most likely with your fuser and will need to be replaced. Contact Oki tech support and see if your printer is still under warranty, you will need to give them your printer's model number and serial number. Sometimes the cheapest solution is to replace the printer all together.
