Flooding everywhere when you put a load in, no matter what size, the water will fill all the way up, and not go into spin right either. as a result of this, we get water all over the place.it's almost like it's not being told to shut off. what can i do?

Sounds like a control pcb malfunction. Remember that you are dealing with MAINS Voltages which can be lethal.
Never continue to use a machine that floods or enables random water release for any reason. The end result might be Electrocution, and it is certainly not worth that risk

Sounds like a lid switch

Remove front of machine with putty knife/slide knife in at top of front on left and right u will see the tabs.. there is a pressure tube that attachs to tub on the left side remove tube. DONT BREAK OF THE *** it is most likly pluged use small wire to clean tube and the little *** that it gos on to// put tube back on (SPIN AND DRAIN MACHINE) test on all load sizes.. good luck thank you for voting.............................

the pressure fill switch has become disengaged....remove screws holding control panel and raise it up,you will see a plastic tube has become disconnected and must be reattached to a component directly under load size selector switch,usually a rust or orangeish color,sometimes white

I am assuming this is a top load washing machine.... the load size selector button has a hose attached to the back of it. This hose goes down to an overflow box mounted to the side of the tub. This tube often gets clogged and the machine cannot tell where the water level is. 1) dissconnect the tube from the level selector switch and ( w/it unplugged ) attach another tube to it and blow into it. you should hear a clicking sound. this means your level selector switch is functioning properly. if it does not click then it needs to be replaced. 2) dissconnect the tube from the level selector switch and ( w/it unplugged ) blow into the tube and you should hear air going into the tub, ( this is best performed with water in the tub ( bubbles ) )....hope this helps

If you disconnected power and water still flowed, replace the water valve. If water stopped flowing when power was disconnected, clean out tube from tub to water level switch.

Experienced a similar matter w/ ours that resulted in $3000 worth of floor damage in our house. The solution was an $85 service call for a tech to come out and reconnect a tube that detects when the machine has filled to the proper hight. Without this mechanism in place the washer thought it needed to continue filling (in our case it fille for 2 hours while we were gone). Sorry, never learned the proper name of this water pressure sensor.

Hi When I plug it in is there any light on the panel that will come on without hooking it up the water lines???

Your level switch hose has come loose.first open the display panel to check in back of water level switch,and look for a hose that is not attached to the back of it.
