By the way, the fuse has a rating written on fuse even on the bottom of its circuit board in printed form. Always replace the fuse with the same capacity/rating for safety purpose.

Did you check to make sure the PC is sending a video signal? Try another screen to confirm if possible...

Why not just spend $30 to $50 and purchase a "previously-owned" 15-inch or 17-inch LCD monitor?

Check your cables to both the monitor and the computer. make sure you dont have a florescent light fixture or fan or other electrical device close to the monitor causing interference. Some do this just before going out, some run like this forever without going out. Keep in mind that a 17inch crt monitor can be replaced for less than 40 bucks used, so dont put a lot of money into it.

check the signal cable bend it in on condition and look what difference in color occurs if so then replace the cable if not that fault then ther is a dry solder on the base of monitor find out and clear it

Your vertical deflector circuit is going out. This is really not economical to repair, the chip alone is $12-15 plus if you have any other parts in the circuit going out plus labor. You can pickup 17" CRT monitors for less than $15 from goodwill or craigslist.

Sorry to say but I think its time to retire your 753s
