Are you running Linux? The partition may have not been created or it may have been created but not formatted as ext, ext2, ext3. You may have created it but formatted it as swap space.
If you have access to linux LIVE CD, you may want to boot from the live CD and explore the partitions in your hard drive. For Linux there must be at least two partitions / (root) and swap.
I do not know much about ANDROID OS but I have read that it is based on a Linux Kernel.

your problem indicates that their may be some bad sectors on the disk. try using different tools like fdisk, pmagic, try using linux (bootable cd) for partitioning and formatting, then converting the partitions from ext3 to ntfs/fat32

Ok I have Duo booted ubuntu a couple of times now. When you were partitioning did you use the automatic or he manual? Since you have two hard disks, I will assume you use a desktop and you know how to take it apart. So, if you did automatics the bestt I can tell you is to swith your hard drives around physically and if that fails try switching g the boot menu order. If you used manual partitioning then when you were creating the ext3 partition you did not type / in the text box labeled Moint Point (that's the best I can help you) I hope this has fixed your problem. Fsck will do a standard filesystem check in Linux. Read the fsck manual pages (man fsck - from terminal) for usage instructions. Additionally, most drive manufacturers make a diagnostic boot disk you can download to check the drive for further errors than fsck can.

If you are still having problems after using the drive manufacturer's tools. and assuming your drive passes those tests, you can always try a low-level format with DBAN or a similar tool to completely erase the entire drive (this will completely erase every part of the drive, even the partition map and master boot record thereby requiring a reinstall of all software). From there, you can decide if your drive needs further repair / replacement.

Use a FAT32 Formatted partition (32GB) on your external USB Harddrive as the main Master Download Area. To do this, connect the drive to the PC by USB and re-partition the drive in sections with the disk manager. 32GB for the FAT32 and the rest in NTFS. Re-connect the drive to the WL500W USB and the FAT32 partition will be recognised automatically by the Router. Linux users can use the full HD drive if they format the drive in Ext2/Ext3. Correctly formatted USB memory sticks with a capacity of 32GB are better suited for this un-attended (low power) dowloading. You can use a (FAT32) 8 Gbyte stick also !

Warning !

Using only NTFS partitions will make the drive read-only and useless for un-attended downloads by the WL500W. Unfortunatly this is the case with 100% of all new availbale drives (>500GB) - So RE-PARTITION it wisely !!!

What about Queing (Waiting) ?

It waits for the connection and if bandwidth is available it starts the download. If files are missing on a server or the address is invalid an error is risen and the link is aborted or deleted. Many BitTorrent files are invalid or have nobody seeding. Waiting is therefore the best option.

Enable SSH or use the internal serial port to run e2fsck
