Maxent mx-26x3 video issue

First ,what is the current input source? If the source isn't connected to the coaxial antenna (RG59) jack, then most TVs will not have the channel scan option available.

Next, the only L2614XW02 I've found is a version of the Maxent MX-26X3 TV. This TV only has an analog tuner. Very few analog OTA stations are still broadcasting and those that are use low-power transmitters. Thus you have to be close to the signal source to receive the broadcast. For most stations, you'll need an OTA digital to analog tuner converter box. Similarly, if you have cable and use a set-top box, that will not be a signal that the TV will tune in directly. Use the set-top box to search for channels.

(Note: the tuner can be damaged by a surge that came through the antenna. My household lost a converter box and a TV following a nearby lightning strike. Do you have a digital converter box? Its a smaller block square box that connects to the wall and the tv connects to the digital converter? I you do not have a digital converter that is most likely your problem. Not a gurantee but since they did the big digital signal switch, you now need these converters. Hope this helped

Maxent ,mx 26 x3 turns on for 5sc.( all white) then picture flickers and screen goes black.. green light on throughout..none of button on the remote or the tv will work expect the power .i wonder is their a way to reset the tv?

If you are using an external source like cable box, dish, dvd, then check or try different video cable.

If you are using the tv itself with no add-ons, then if may be a bad circuit board or convergance board, but further testing would need to be done to be certain.

Yes and no.  Yes you can connect the PS3 to the plasma using the component video inputs, games and videos will play fine.  However the native resolution of the TV is only 480P (852X480 pixels) which is much lower than the 1080P that the PS3 is capable of.  If you want a tv that can get the best possible image from the PS3 you would need a TV with full 1080P resolution and HDMI ports for digital input. what kind of connection are you useing cable, dish, attena... and how do you have it connected ... direct connect from a cable box or threw a vcr also are you running coax cable or the colored audio video cables?

Code for gateway works. I used 206 on my universal remote. I have a Phillips remote.

Tcon board issues or the cabling going in or out of it

More than probably is the LCD control board, but this one is coming with the LCD panel. Could be the main PCB too and I suggest you to call a tech for a exact diagnosys because the parts implied are very expansive.
