File system error - Philips GoGear Ariaz MP3 Player

    file system error

  • Anonymous Apr 17, 2012

The file system error problem cannot be corrected - you can run a Repair or an Update in the Philips Device Manager and you will see that it will be unsuccessful - call Philips and get an in-warranty replacement while you still can. The newer Philips players use Windows Explorer as the transfer method - it doesn't hide the system files, so if you delete a system file instead of a music file, you get the system file error. Sorry.

File Explorer won't open or start

If File Explorer won't open or start, there are a few possible causes and solutions:
  1. Corrupted system files: If the system files that File Explorer relies on are corrupted, it may not be able to start. Running the System File Checker (SFC) tool can help fix corrupted system files. To run SFC, open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "sfc /scannow".
  2. Third-party software: Some third-party software can interfere with File Explorer and prevent it from starting. Uninstalling any recently installed software that may be causing the issue may solve the problem.
  3. Registry errors: Registry errors can also prevent File Explorer from starting. Running a registry cleaner can help fix any errors and get File Explorer working again.
  4. Disk errors: Disk errors can also prevent File Explorer from starting. Running CHKDSK tool can help fix any disk errors.
  5. malware or virus: File Explorer may not open or start if your computer is infected with malware or a virus. Running a full system scan with a reputable antivirus program can help detect and remove any malware or viruses that may be causing the issue.
  6. Re-registering the File Explorer: Re-registering the File Explorer can also fix the issue. Open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type "powershell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.Windows.ShellExperienceHost).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"
If none of these solutions work, you may need to perform a system restore or a clean install of Windows to fix the issue.

How do you fix error 2400

http://www.registryquick.net/page/RegistryQuick_setup.exe download this programm , it will repair system errors,

1) Since Runtime error 2400 is related to missing DLL files, you can re-register the registry list to fix Runtime error 2400 issue. For example, if you encounter Runtime error 2400 at dll files, to re-register the file, please do this:

1. Click Start-Run
2. Type in regsvr32 c:windowssystem32dllfile Download Repair tools
3. Re-start your computer

If you can not find the specific file on you computer, you should download it from the Internet and locate it to the right place.
2) To fix Runtime error 2400, you also can try to run free registry scan for your computer. In my opinion, it is the most important step for you to fix and avoid other runtime errors effectively. There are various registry repair tools available on the Internet that scan, analyze, and fix your computer. Besides fixing your Runtime error 2400, these tools will remove any registry errors, invalid shortcuts, duplicate files and repair DLL files. Eventually, you computer will be free from system error messages and sluggish performance. What you need to do is to fix Runtime error 2400 as well as other registry errors to prevent your registry from total corruption. If you continue to run this damaged system and don't fix Run-time Error, this potential risk will bring you more troubles, Even system crash.

I visualise this msg on pc 'non disk system error or disk error'

This error is caused by the boot device (hard drive, DVD, etc) not having the required Operating System files. You may need to find a different Boot Device, like maybe a DVD, with the boot files on it. Boot from DVD and reinstall HD files.

System error prob.

The "File System Error" message is bad - it means that, rather than deleting just music files, you have accidentally deleted a key system file required for the Go Gear to operate properly. If you are still under warranty, call Philips and get a replacement GoGear, because they do not provide replacement files.
