More than likely you have a bad LCD panel. This cannot be replaced. However, there are some instances where either the D4 board or D5 board is at fault. These can be replaced. I would keep your receipt thow in case you have to send the boards back.

I just worked on this last week 13 blinks means there is a problem with the backlights.So it can be 1 of 2 things bad inverter board( which costs less than $200) or the panel in which case you can thow the TV away as it will probably cost as much for a new TV.Unfortunately the set I worked on ended up being panel. If you try the inverter board just take your time removing it its plugged in rather tight I gently tapped it out with a screwdriver to get it started.

I called Sony repair and they said to bring my set in for evaluation. They think it is just the back light. Maybe $300 - $400 to fix. If it is the panel I will scream!

It's a power supply related issue. It's an error code for a certain circuit pathway, but I'm not sure 100% sure what code 13 can be because I don't have the Service Manual for your exact TV model number. But, here's where you can get one:

sorry. Hope you still have a waranty. This is not an uncommon problem with the sony's. 99% chance that the panel went out. Could also be a balance board issue, but usually not. Call Sony for an authorized repair center
