If you forgot the password to unlock Device-Lock, follow the
steps below to activate Master Clear.
1. Switch off the power and remove the SIM card.
2. Switch on the power. Press ‘*25327#’ on the Home screen
and then press OK.

The Pantech phone was formerly sold by Cingular, but it is now sold by AT&T. Because it is a flip phone, the Pantech does not have a keypad lock. It does, however, have a feature to lock the device and prevent unwanted phone calls being made by other people. Locking and unlocking the phone requires you to know your password.

1. ep 1 If the main screen reads "Phone Locked," choose "Unlock" from the lower left-hand portion of the screen. Enter your password and select OK. Entering the wrong password three times will display "ENTER PUK." You will need to call customer service to resolve the issue.
   
2. Step 2 To lock the phone, choose "Menu" from the main screen. Select "Settings" and then scroll down and select "Security." Choose "Phone Lock" and press the left or right arrow on your directional pad. Press "OK" and enter your password.
   
3. Step 3 Change your password by selecting "Menu" from the main screen. Go to "Settings," then "Security," and then "Change Password." If you have not yet set a password, the default is 1234. If you didn't change it it is usaly the last four digits of your number

See there are 2 passwords. Security code and lock code. If you forgot any one of the above then enter the second instead of the forgotten code. If one of them are in defaults then you can get it in the manual.

I only know how to lock the phone entirely... go to "Settings", then "Security", then "Phone Lock" and turn the lock on. The default password is 1234, to change it go to "Change Password" in the Security menu.
