Hello, Everyone. Some of you might run into a few problems when trying to sync books to your Er700-2 E reader. this is the best way to get things rolling.
1. Borders is no longer in business and neither is the desktop app that comes with the Er700. Download the new desktop app here:
http://www.kobobooks.com/desktops2. If you had a Borders account, follow the steps to migrate your old account into Kob's new library.
3. You will also need to download Adobe Digital Editions from Adobe.com

the player with Kobo. use your new copy of adobe digital editions to add your ebooks into your Er700-2. Connect your Er700-2 to your PC. in ADE, you'll see an e reader icon. click and drag the ebooks from your ADE library into the E reader icon to sync your device.
safely eject the device and happy reading!!!!
Oh yeah, if by an chance that you get error messages, or your e reader crashes, there's a firmware update on the company's website. I advise you to backup your e reader before you continue because it'll erase it. you can always restore your e reader after the firmware update.
