Question about Western Digital Passport WDXML800UE (WDXML800UETE) 80 GB Hard Drive
No real details just won't recognize my USB connected HardDrive. It's a Mac OSX 10.5.4 THe Light comes on so I know there's power and sometimes I can hear it spin.
Some computers (especially Mac laptops) don't send enough power through the USB port to power a passport, so you need to get an extra power cord, one that combines 2 USB ports into one to get a little extra juice. Wish I could give you a website where you can buy that extra cord but I am currently looking for one myself at this moment in time.
