Adjust the reed switch, see the diagram attached , clean, and tight the wires very well.

RUN the software calibration for diagnose, and troubleshooting.

If you can not run the s. calibration and after you did the adjustment for reed swithc, tight the ribbon cable inside, then tight the connector from display board vs lower board. If the problem persist the display board is faulty or main motor board is faulty. RUN the s. calibration.

sincerly. God bless you

Gateway laptop NE56R series can it boot up from the security area?

yes, you can boot into "safe mode" by holding down the proper function key when booting up. Different mfrs use different function "F" keys to do this. Look up Gateway on line to determine which key it is for yours. Always chose "Safe mode with Networking." Go to MY COMPUTER and highlight you harddisk and choose "TOOLS". Let the tool scan your disk and repair all the errors for you by ticking the proper blocks. Takes awhile, be patient.

Since you have the coordinates of the three vertices, the most straightforward method is to calculate the length of the sides using the distance formula
d(P_1,P_2)=SQRT((X_1-X_2)^2+(Y_1-Y_2)^2)
where SQRT is the square root function, X_1, Y_1) are the coordinates of point P_1, etc.
With the three lengths available, use Heron's (sometimes called Hero's) to find the area.
Here is Heron's formula.
Let's call the lengths a, b, and c
Let p be the semi-perimeter p= (a+b+c)/2
Then
Area= SQRT [ p(p-a)(p-b)(p-c) ]
Make sure that there is a matching ) parenthesis to the one in the SQRT.

Alternatively,
You can choose the base as the side opposite the vertex (0,0)
Calculate the equation of the line that supports the base.
Calculate the equation of the line issuing from (0,0) and perpendicular t the base.
Calculate the coordinates of the intersection point , call it H, of the base and its perpendicular line (coming from (0,0)).
Calculate the distance OH, that is the height relative to the chosen base.
Use the formula Area= base*height/2

Now it is up to you to choose one of the two methods and calculate the area of that triangle. The second method involves more calculations than the first, and more possibilities of errors. Good Luck

How do you fix an MA error when attempting to graph a function? I have even tried to graph simple functions like (X) or (5) and it still says MA error.

A. This is due to a mathematical error such as
  1. dividing by 0,
  2. an illogical operation,
  3. calculations outside the range of a function,
  4. using the exponential function with the [^] key,
  5. logarithm of a negative number,
  6. calculating the factorial of numbers larger that 69,
  7. what have you.
  8. Check the expression of the function you are trying to graph.
B. Reset your calculator and start again: Press the button on the back of the calculator; use a starightened paper clip.Draw the line y=XPress Menu.
  1. Use keys to highlight [GRAPH] and press [EXE].
  2. Make sure the screen that opens says Graph Func Y= at the top.
  3. On the Y1= line enter X (use the [X,theta,T] key under the [ALPHA] key.
  4. Press [F6:Draw].
  5. You should see a staright line passing through the origin (0,0).

HP 15C calculator display showed ''Error 4'' when using inverse function (1/x). How do I fix it? Thanks.

Hello,
When you get the error press any key to suppress the error message. Put the calculator into PROGRAM mode and you will see the line where the error occurred.

Here is what the manual says for ERROR 4 (free translation)
The line number called is not used or does not exist (larger than 448); attempt to load a program line (instruction) where there is not enough space; line label inexistant.
My hunch is that you are attempting to divide by 0: The quantity of which you are taking the reciprocal (inverse function has another meaning) may have a 0 value.
Do not forget to check the input values.
Hope that will help you debug your program

How to clear the error e000002-0000

Hi,

I am happpy to have helped you before. My concern is that this error code (E002) is also a fuser error code. The E003 you had experienced before Had to do with an error concerning monitoring the temperature of the fusing section. The "fuser " is a high voltage, high temperature and high pressure area that is responsible for taking the toner (which consists of carbon black, polymers(plastic) and other crud that apparently the EPA and OSHA do do not require absolute specifics on and through heat and pressure bonds this powder of "stuff "to the paper. Because the the heat in this area approaches the temperature of combustion it is monitored in many ways. If the temp does not reach the proper degree in a fixed amount of time......error code. If the temperature swings high or low, whether under operation or not....error code. And we are talking milliseconds of differential. It is because of the danger to property (and more like lawsuits) that every little aspect of the fuser is failsafed. And the monitoring of the fuser is so precise that even a fluctuation in line voltage,( which is used to calculate an algorithm) can cause an error. In fact , fluctuations in the line voltage is a primary cause for fuser errors. I can help you reset this code as well. But the fuser for your machine is basically good for @ 150K. It also has limited serviceability It can be seviced but I strongly suggest that the entire unit be replace if it is close to 150 k. Now, lets try to reset your code and then you can make the call depending on what options you have. But please remember that if you are in an area that the line power you have is suspect...... then you neen to write this sequence down just in case that its just power fluctuations.Ok , here we go. Press "additional functions"......then press the numbers 2and 8 at the same time, then press additional functions again. This will put you into service mode......typically used by only trained field engineers. The new menu you see will look wierd as it will be blue and have several "boxes" on the menu with "COPIER" at the top of the list.Touch copier and it will highlight, then press "ok" at the lower right corner. This will summon a new menu which will have several tabs at the top. Of those tabs prees "function". Now there will be many items listed in the main field of the screen. One of the items will be "CLEAR". Press it, it will hihglight. One of the options will be "ERR". Press it, it will highlight. Press "ok" located at the lower right corner. The copier will not acknowedge that you have done so so dont expect whistles and bells. :-) Now, press reset until you get back to the main(I'm pissed off screen) which wll again display the error code. Now reach around the right side at the back, slightly below the halfway point and you will see/ feel the rocker switch that is truly the main power and shut it off. Wait 5 secs, and power it back up. The copier will attempt to reset itself and probably will. If it does then cool. Please remember, poor power can cause this problem, and if the meter count is close to, or exceeds 150,000 copies just buy (request) a fuser.

Thanks.
