Look at the File menu. Perhaps there you will find "to Open".... It is possible through the import will work, but specify other personal folder (that others mail didn't mix up with yourself mail). File - Import - Outlook Express - the Main record - Review - the Necessary file - OK. I have my mail is almost always through the import downloaded, after reinstalling. Or try using this DBX Open File Tool If you do not want through Outlook. You can find it here http://www.dbx.openfiletool.com/
Go to the forum here and read this topic http://www.filerepairforum.com/forum/microsoft/microsoft-aa/outlook-express/1197-how-to-open-dbx-database
In windows vista there is no outlook express, instead you will get windows mail. you can see that in programs. if its not there you can download it from microsoft site and install it. Its totally free. You can configure this as outlook express and use ..
MS outlook is part of ms office and outlook express is part of the operating system. To reinstall the outlook express you need to go to the install additional components for windows option in add remove programs.
Make sure you have all of the critical and important patches for both your operating system and MS Office/Outlook. If you continue having these problems after being fully patched, go to the Add/Remove Programs (XP and earlier) or Programs and Features (Vista) applet. Select MS Office (if you have the full Office installation) or MS Outlook (if you have the standalone Outlook installation). In Vista, select Change otherwise select Uninstall (which should open a dialog offering to Repair or Uninstall the application(s)). Select Repair and click Next to let it do its thing. A reboot may be required when it has completed its work. You also may need to reapply service packs and patches so make sure you visit Windows Update, Microsoft Update, and/or the Office Update websites as soon as possible.
--Open Control Panel --> mail -->Remove any previous account info.
-- Reboot system
-- Repair Office by Office button --> Options --> Resources --> run Microsoft Diagnostics.
-- Start Outlook and configure
Are you using Outlook?
open Outlook, then click on help, then on drop down menu, cick on "detect and repair"
If that does not work:
Go to :
Start
Control Panel
Add/Remove programs
when the windows opens up , scroll down to MS Office, then click on change.
A window will open and the second choice should be "repair" You may need to have your MS Office handy. If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it. Thanks, Joe
Outlook express comes packaged with MS Office You can use only Outlook which is already installed on your windows system by default.
If you can clarify your problem I could help you with an alternative, >"to send the image to my computer.." What image you wish to send and from where?
