The direct tv reciever has a coax output that will send a signal to channel 3 or 4 that any older telivision can recieve...so the answer is yes. You obvously need a direct tv reciever to watch direct tv on any telivision.

well usually you can go to menue or there are button on the remote that say things that you hav eno clue what they mean then keep pushing it till it changes but if its a new tv most likely go to menue and look in the manual
