The control center on my Logtiech Z5500 speaker system started smoking today and died. Is there any way I can locate a repalcement control center or board?
Buy a new system, think hard about the fact that logitech is of no help, think about the environmental impact of throwing out a perfectly good set of speakers take all the speakers and parts out, put them back and return one of the sets. Plug in the old speakers into your computer and see if they work. Hint hint

exactly the same problem was working fine then i heard a load noise from then on its been dead please help
This has happened to me twice.
When it first happened with my first set of speakers, there was a crackling noise coming out of my sub and my speakers, and about 5 minutes later I could smell plastic burning, and the plug was smoking and the control speaker was burning hot.
I bought another one and was fine until today, when the same noises and burning happened.
I do not recommend logi-tech software to anyone. I have heard of similar problems with all types of their software.
Does anyone know a safer brand of speakers???
