I just looked at one on my bench, and the number is not printed on the circuit board. I can point you to it if you need. Shoot me an email at [email protected] and I can tell you the location and send you a pic if you like.

If it is classic it is a 2SC2029 driver transistor.

How to change RF meter lite in cobra LTD 29 radio

It's a small bulb . There is a number on it. You may have to get a magnifying glass to read it. It is soldered in so removal will require a soldering iron of a low wattage.

How do I adust the watts on my cobra 29 ltd CB

Replace the 2314 driver withe a 2SC2166 driver and the final transistor with a 2SC1969 final transistor. Re-tune coils L10,L9,L8 for maximum power. Don't cut d11 like some may say to. It will turn your radio into a crappy sounding radio. Simply adjust VR4. Never cut a limiter. This will get you some solid sounding power.

Check D23 and D28. They are polarity protection diodes. It could also be the power knob.

Codra 29 nw ltd classic

For the money, the Cobra 29 nw/st is just as good if not better than a Galaxy. Cobra is more durable by far. I have had 3 of these cobra's in the last 30 years. Only had to replace the last one because the tractor got hit by lightning.
Sure would not pay big money for a name.
