I replaced the power board with a new revised version. Double checked all connections several times

This is my daughters TV. She told me that for a few days the tv would come on ok but would shut off after an hour or so time. It would not restart till it cooled. Finally one day it popped and no sound no video no light no led lights nor light from projector lamp. I called a service rep he said it could have been a bad power board. I took off the back cover and found dust blocking most of the fan duct screens and a blown lamp.

As a safety factor I replaced the power board
and replaced lamp cleaned ducts. Verified all fans are working. TV powers up with all normal led indications. Projector lamp is on bright.
Audio works from all inputs. However I cannot get the menu to come up nor any video input.
I called JVC rep he talked me through a reset using the side panel Menu buttons and power switch. No change. I dont no weather Ive got a digital card problem or is it the $1600 optical engine to replace?

I dont need basic guesswork here I need some one who has actually seviced this tv

    I replaced the power board

First thing check the connections. check and test the continuity on the power or the main board.
and there a possibility that you have a damaged screen.

the loud pop sounds occur usually due to blown capacitor. Make sure none of the capacitor are burnt. Please look carefully since sometimes you dont notice a small crack in it which causes the pop.
If not, no video sounds like video unit is faulty.
Again have a look on the circuit board if any component has burnt.

Do you remember how this happened ? or did it happen all of a sudden?

Please check any cold solder near the lamp. Check any blown/bulge capacitor and any other nearby components. If you found one, replacing it will fix the problem

Lamp connector

do a self test diagnosis by pressing the menu and device/input buttons on front panel for 5 sec and you will see a seq. of blinks followed by a short pause and then more blinks. count the first set and last to give you the error code.

Samsung dlp

HLS4266W 43" dlp. In less than 1 yr whining grew worse, but did know what it was. Year passed with warranty and lamp went out. Replaced lamp. Worked for 3.5 hrs. Turned on next day and did not work. Got another lamp, but did not work. Figured out might be color wheel. Replaced it too. TV started up. Watched that night. Turned on next day, heard loud pop. Lamp never came on. Withdrew and reinstalled lamp a couple times to see if that worked. Did not. Currently, with new lamp and color wheel installed, lamp light blinks, but no lamp comes on. What now?
