The picture continually flashes to snow (grey screen) then back to TV. The problem normally fixes itself after about 30 minutes of watching TV/snow, or by me turning all components off and on few times. I notice this problem more in the mornings when the devices haven't been used in a few hours. Is it a setting on the Receiver? All connections are securely in the proper ports. Thank you,

It seems the new, larger tvs these days put out too much light and it interferres with the remote signal. Simply put a post-it note or tape a piece of paper over the lights on the receiver and you have an affordable and instant fix. This isn't a good looking fix and I would be upset if the set were in a living room. Luckily ours is in the family room downstairs.

Hi, I would like you to try changing the input selection method for your TV. I suspect that some of the commands are incorrect.
1. In the software, click 'Settings' next to the icon for your TV.
2. Click 'Adjust Inputs'.
Make sure you select the method that best describes how the original remote changes inputs. Dont pay attention to the brand names. Also, make sure that the input list is EXACTLY the same in the software as on the TV itself.
Once you have done all of the input setup, update the remote and try it out again.
Let me know if that helps :)

OKAY TRY THIS..
DO STEPS 1-3 AGAIN AND ONCE IT TURNS OFF KEEP CLICKING THE CURSOR UP A COUPLE TIMES.
THEN START CLICKING THE CURSOR DOWN SLOWLY TELL THE TV TURNS BACK ON AND ONCE IT CLICKS BACK ON HIT THE TV BUTTON ON THE TOP OF THE REMOTE ..
IF THE LIGHT BLINKS TWO OR THREE TIMES MORE THEN LIKELY YOU'VE PROGRAMED IT =)
AND NOW KICK BACK RELAX AND ENJOY A COLD BEER FOR THE BOTH OF US =)

It is possible that the 2 remotes are on the same remote address. This
generally is not possible if one remote is IR and the other is UHF but
with some receivers you can have an UHF remote for you TV 1. To resolve
this issue you would need to readdress on of the remotes to a different
remote address. I have provided instructions on how to readdress the
remote. I hope this helps.
