From the looks of it there's no Vista support yet. Pinnacle Systems needs to come out with somekind of patch soon. I've been looking for an hour as well. Couldn't find anything but people discussing the fact that they need the patch badly. On the Pinnacle site there's a link to software for Dazzle Video Creator 9 but it leads to an error page.

I guess you'll have to watch carefully when an update arrives.
Or try to find something of an automatic update feature in the software, maybe it'll find something.

You can try simpler programs such as Windows Movie Maker but I don't think it suits your needs when you want to edit stuff.

Another solution might be Sony Vegas.

I hope this will help you out. It's really frustrating that you buy software and then you can't use it on Vista.

I would suggest to you to finished edit your project and after that click on make movie tab or the number 3 tab of your Studio then do this procedure.
Disc Type : DVD
Audio Compression : PCM
Video Quality : Automatic
Use Progressive Encoding : NOT checked
Always Re-encode Entire Movie: Checked
Burn Options: Create Disc Content and then burn.
Current Media : Should show what DVD Disc should be used.
Target Media: DVD 4.7 GB
Copies : 1
Write Speed: lowest possible

i think you must check your PC hardware......
Your Ram memory...because it also eat a lot of ram memory.....

Suggest for that is to delete that part which is the transition then after that put a new one save it then try making a disc again. Also, your cd or dvd should have a manual on it if you still have it.

Make sure that the cd disc is detected by your computer and all the track will showing before you import it. If ever it is not showing you need to change the disc. Another one is download the patch.

Can u please explain a little bit more

check what mode the cd video is you may have to burn another one with the correct mode for pc
Right click program on cd go to properties check video name plus what is after the . ie home.wmv as you need to burn cds with a general code
Try VLC Media Player on computer this plays all my video media
