Check the drive belt. This belt runs from the engine to the transaxle. Look for abnormal wear and if the sides of the belt look glazed/shiny. Check the pulley mechanism that tightens the belt for proper operation and belt tension while engaged.
Try reducing the speed selector. This is equivalent to running in a lower gear. Your tractor works hard just to turn the blade. Going uphill requires additional power, so some reduction in speed is to be expected.

more than likely your low on transmission fluid. I heard alot of this pertaining to hydrostatic transmissions on yards with inclines. I would check your fluid level .

Im sure you have a hydrostatic or an automatic forward and reverse right well your ****** is on its way out when it warms up it likes to crawl in this case even if you attempt to check oil or even try draining and putting in different oil its a tough one ****** is expensive

When i cutting grass on a level surface the ride is smooth, however when i attempt to go uo a slight incline the ride is rough. Why?

It could be fuel related when you incline. Either not enough gas in tank or float is not set up rite or fuel filter is clogged and not letting sufficient fuel flow to carb. Good Luck...

Hi, remove the battery and battery carrier, clean all grass and debris from the hydrostatic drive, cooling fins and fan. Your problem is most likely the hydrostatic drive over heating. Hope this helps, regards Phil.
