My panasonic plasma tv has a black wide strip down center of tv goes about half way down

most likely this is your y or x sustain boards and if that does not fix it . it could your pdp panel cost varise on part . The cost of your pdp panel is very expesive this th has lots of problems. I would call your local tv shop and have them give you a estimate.First ask thme how much they charge for a estimate. good luck.

black strip down the right side its about 2 inches wide there are also red and green flashing lights that is defective shorted capacitor at power inverter board section that was 300uf 200volts.

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

SOURCE: I have a 46" Panasonic

C board at bottom of screen in back. Resear the connectors that correspond to the stripes. besure to disconnect the the power supply from the sustain boards before doing this or flat cables will be burt by arc. If this does not help replace the corresponding c board. If this still does not fix it then plasma panel is bad.
