My Hoover Nextra hnf2137 is not draining or spinning during the wash cycle.
It is also over filling, which lead to a bit of a flood.
Any thoughts on what it could be?
I have 3 kids, therefor the machine is going 2-3 times a day, so expecting a bit of trouble.
I had a problem and when they took the back off. Underwire bra had got jammed through drum holes which stopped it spinning and water issues. I hope this might help.

Program error due to maybe a delay in the fill and drain cycle, Get the inlet and outlet valves cleaned( drain should be quick)
Now if during the cycle the program is cutting off voltage to the motor, then the control board can be faulty.
Check if the drive is having connection fault to stop the motor voltage.
Can you hear the pump running just before the spin cycle, if so then I suspect a blockage in the filter or pump hose, If not and machine is quiet then it could be a faulty water pump or PCB board and you would have to call a technician.
have you tried cleaning the filter at the bottom. remove the front plateat the bottom and there is a small round plate at the left. this has a screw in it. when you have removed this you give it a twist. a bucketload of water and gunk will come out. i found about 60p in 5's but when it was all removed it started to work again
Empty your machine manually by lowering the drain hose into a bowl or bucket. Then remove the kick plate and check the filter for blockages. Before replacing try the machine on drain to see if the pump is running, if problem persists there may be a blockage in the pipe from the drum to the pump.
control panel gone!
