Go to the link below for owner's manual. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=214&modelid=9429 Once you are on this page, click the "Drivers and Downloads" tab near the middle/right of the page. Next, click on the red letters that read "Product/Software Manuals." A new pop-up will appear displaying Canon. (NOTE: You may have to temporarily allow the pop-up.) At the bottom of this page, click on EOS_REBEL_K2.pdf and open. Then go to page 24. Good luck.

SOURCE: low battery warning

What type of batteries did you buy?

For digital cameras, you want to use batteries with high milliamp hour (mah) rating: "2500 mah" if they are rechargeable.

If you bought regular batteries, you want to use good quality. Look for the "e2" or "better for digital equipment" type.

Does the camera have a DC power plug option? Try taking pictures with it plugged in if it does. If it still malfunctions with power right from the wall, then you bought a bad camera.

SOURCE: My Canon EOS Rebel 35mm SLR camera seems to be

One of the shutter blades is faulty or is being obstructed. Either that or you're using flash to take pictures but using too fast a shutter speed, most SLR's have a flash synch speed of 1/60 or 1/125 of a second.

The first problem will need a professional repair, but it may be a fairly straightforward one. The second problem would require that you read the user manual for both the camera and flashgun.

My Canon Rebel XT is overexposing shots in the Auto and Program mode by 1 or 2 stops. How do I fix this or compensate for it?

You can go into "exposure compensation" and lower the setting as you desire. It's the button that's half-black/half-white with a plus and minus.

All my pictures come out red or pink. It's a canon digital slr and it does it on all the settings.

I suggest that the auto white balance has been changed from automatic. If it set to auto white balance, I don't have any idea what the problem is.

How to take action shots with the canon rebel xs

There is an action shot setting on the wheel on the top of the camera. If you want to manually control the camera:
-Raise ISO -Select Tv mode (shutter priority mode) -Select a fast shutter speed -Manual focus on what you want to take -Take multiple pictures so one will be good

Camera stopped taking pictures

Same thing happened to me a while ago. I was in a panic. I turned it on and off several times...no change. Finally, I turned the camera to the off position, took the battery out of the camera for about 30 seconds and put it back in again and it worked fine. No problem since.

Daytime Photos A Little Dark In Auto Mode

If you are in full auto the camera is going to meter to the brightest point. If your subject is in the sun you should be ok but if your subject is shaded then they will come out dark becouse the camera is metering for the brighter background. You might try seting your camera in AV or TV mode and then set your camera to a single AF point. This will let you camera meter to just your subject and not the background. Youe could also try using a flash fill to balance out the light.
