SOURCE: Main frame and worn wheels of the quinny buzz

This happened to my wife the other day, I found that the main pivot bolt had pulled through the plastic pivot/collapse assembly. This part is rivoted to the frame so without drilling it out and replacing with an ugly nut and bolt you will have to source a new frame. I got mine from Ebay, I found someone selling lots of quinny buzz bits and asked if he still has the frame he said yes but the handle bar no longer extends (Hence im on here looking how to swap the two), Problem solved!

I also found out from Quinny that the Buzz has a 2 year manufacturers warranty, where Motercare insisted it was 1 year, so dont let them fob you off.
Hope this helps
Chris.

SOURCE: does the quinny buzz seat 2006 and carrycot fit the 2008/9 frame

Hi new frame should be ok, the only frame that is different is the older 2005 frame, if you remove your seat unit and check the posts on your seat unit (the bits that slot onto the buzz chassis) if they are both the same and have rounded ends then this is the older model and wont fit the newer frames, but if one of the posts is rounded and the other is shaped like a turret then all the frames 2006 onwards will be ok. :)

Frame feels really loose is there any way of tightening it up?

Hi Viccie

It would be recommended that it is returned to the engineers for inspection & repair work required.

Please visit the Quinny Facebook page for assistance in doing this depending on which country you are based in and the age of your Quinny chassis.

Can a Maxi-Cosi Mico infant car seat fit on a Quinny Buzz 2006 frame?

The Mico is a USA model only so we are unable to advise from the UK team whether it is compatible with the older style Quinny Buzz.

We recommend you contact Dorel USA on crelations@djgusa.com

Hi, the frame on my quinny buzz 3 seems to become very loose i,ve tried tightened the screws but still appear loose is there any quick fix u would know?? thanks

Good Afternoon

If you've tightened the chassis screws there would be no other "quick fix" that can be recommended.

If the product is under 2 years old please contact your retailer with your proof of purchase for them to send it to the engineers under warranty terms and conditions.

If the product is over 2 years old or you do not have proof of purchase please go to www.quinny.com and select the country you're in then go to "Contact Us" to get in touch with the customer service department in your country.

I have a quinny buzz 2005 frame will a replacement seat unit fit this and will the carry cot fit please

Good Afternoon

The original Quinny Buzz 2005/2006 chassis is not suitable for fitting the current seat fabric. However you can purchase a sub seat (seat frame) which will fit onto your chassis (RRP 75GBP) and the current seat fabric will fit onto that (RRP 40GBP). The Quinny Dreami carrycot is suitable for use on any Quinny Buzz chassis. You can order the sub seat and seat fabric via your local Quinny retailer or direct from the customer service department on 01284 413 141 Mon-Fri 8.30-4.30.

No unfortunately not. The Quinny Dreami carrycot can be fitted as can a maxi cosi car seat using adaptors but not the buzz seat unit.
